Chloé 1980s Bordeaux Gabardine Belted Cape Trench Coat

From a 1980s Chloé collection, this coat is made from red-toned gabardine. It features softly sloping shoulders that fall into a gently flounced cape ending at waist level. The cape features large triangular lapels that form a modest V-neckline contrasting the smooth curves of the silhouette. From the waist, the A-line skirt falls to calf level with moderate fullness at the hem. This trench coat also comes with a matching belt that can further define the waist and create contrast between the skirt and the cape. It has visible signs of vintage use, such as some stress marks on the fabric near the bottom folds of the cape. These marks are not visible during wear as they are hidden in the drape of the garment
