John Galliano SS 2009 Sculptural Gold Leather Heels
From the Spring/Summer 2009 John Galliano collection, these heels are made from gold-toned leather. It features a sculptural, monoblock platform with a biomorphic S-curve. The upper is a high-gloss metallic gold, shaped into a closed round toe with a smooth continuous vamp and secured by triple micro-straps plus a slim, adjustable ankle strap. It has an oversized forward-weighted platform that counterbalances the extreme heel pitch, while the narrow rear contact point emphasizes the cantilevered design. It has very minimal signs of vintage use, such as patina and light wear.Â
